The tasks of a bike station
There are a total of 19 Eurobike bike stations, all of which take on the same tasks, just at a different location. The stations mainly provide reliable service and perfect support during the holiday: provision of travel documents, welcome meeting, individual bike adjustments to our guests, equipment care as well as the bike- and luggage transport. To ensure that the station employees are well prepared for the travel season, they have received numerous training courses at the Eurofun headquarters in Obertrum over the past few days. Topics such as bike transport, equipment care and organisational tasks were on the agenda. After these intensive training days, the respective employees left again filled with anticipation and got ready for the new season in the stations.
Schärding Bike Station
The employees of the Schärding bike station had the shortest journey. Since the Baroque town is not only the starting point for many cycle holidays on the impressive Danube Cycle Path, but also the home of our bike station. From there, station manager Manfred Ettl and his 15 employees oversee all tours along the river. Regardless of whether you start from Schärding or the German city of Passau, this cycle holiday to the Austrian capital Vienna is one of the most popular cycle routes in Europe. In addition to this classic holiday, many other tours are also managed and organised from Schärding. Bikes, luggage transport, a personal welcome meeting and adjustment of the rental bikes are of course included.
Palatinate Bike Station
Bike and Wine – a perfect combination for all connoisseurs. Exactly that and many other delicious regional specialities as well as a fantastically beautiful landscape await you in the Palatinate. This region is best known for its Riesling, which you definitely need to taste on our cycle holidays. So that you can enjoy your holiday with all your senses without a care, the Eurobike bike station Palatinate will be happy to take care of you on site. During the personal welcome meeting and handing over of the bikes, the staff will also tell you one or two insider tips for the individual tours. Have fun cycling and enjoying the culinary treats.
Bolzano Bike Station
Nestled between vineyards, apple trees, enchanting villages and majestic mountains is the location of our bike station in Bolzano. Since 1994 Eurobike has been looking after all cycle holidays in Northern Italy there. Between Innsbruck and Venice employees take care of the bike and luggage transport, handing over travel documents and adjusting rental bikes. Bolzano bike station is always at your disposal across the Austrian Alps and the South Tyrolean hills to the floating lagoon city of Venice. But we are not just represented in Northern Italy, but also in the heart of Italy. Tuscany bike station takes care of the entire central area of Bella Italia.
Majorca Bike Station
So that our guests not only feel at home on the mainland, but also on the popular Spanish Mediterranean island, we have also established a bike station on Majorca since 1998. Our Eurobike quarters are located about 30 kilometres from the capital Palma. Station manager Edith Gouvaia and her five employees organise and supervise all cycle holidays on Majorca. The guests can thus enjoy the Spanish sun, the refreshing Mediterranean Sea and the Mallorcan cuisine carefree and without any stress.
