The Eurobike team in Majorca
Edith Gouvaia has been managing the bike station on Majorca since 2017 and is responsible for all on-site support. Altogether she is supported with all her tasks by five other staff members during the holiday season. The entire team is at our guest’s service with advice and action during the cycle holiday on Majorca and also provides some insider tips along the way.
There are around 120 bikes and 25 e-bikes at the bike station. They are all individually adapted to the guests and also regularly maintained.
Beginnings of the bike station on Majorca
Right from the start, we have been sending customers to the impressive Mediterranean island of Majorca. Summer, sun, sea and beach – what more could you ask for? We at Eurobike recognized this trend early on and worked out one of our first cycle holidays there. This was very well received by our guests and that is why the Majorca bike station was established in 1998. Our location is about 30 kilometers from the capital Palma. But not only our bicycles ‘live’ there, but also many animals such as chickens, horses, cats, dogs and a donkey. When you visit there, you can look forward to a faunal greeting.
The tasks of the bike station
As the saying goes: good planning is half the battle. And that applies perfectly to the tasks of the bike station. Top priority there is perfect organisation to enable guests to enjoy a stress-free and carefree cycling holiday. The daily to-do’s include a smooth luggage transport from one hotel to the next, an informational talk with cyclists, the preparation and handing over of the travel documents, as well as the maintenance of the equipment, And of course there is still time for a nice chat with our guests.
