Engadin Climate

The climate in the Engadin region is strongly influenced by the Alps. Due to the altitude weather conditions in this holiday region are rather fresh. In general, the difference in temperature between the Engadin and the whole of Switzerland is around 5 degrees during the day and 10 degrees at night. Therefore the summer is recommended for a cycle holiday. However ‘summer’ is well said, since average temperatures in July are about 11-12 degrees. Hence we recommend you take too many than too few changes of clothes with you. But even with those cold temperatures St. Moritz boasts with 322 sunny days per year for instance. A cold but sun-kissed Engadin!
