Guided or self-guided?

Eurobike provides support all around and anytime. We are with you from the word ‘Go’: beforehand our team is very happy to assist you with any questions or provide advice on which holiday to pick. After that we book all your hotels, organise the luggage transfer and compile travel documents. Personal care on site is guaranteed too. A Eurobike member of staff will be on hand with help and advice for you and happy to address any matters of detail you might have.

But how does that work during a cycling tour?

Whether you prefer self-guided and travelling by yourself or maybe prefer a guided group-setting, the choice is entirely up to you. Both have their advantages.

Self-Guided Cycling Holidays

With self-guided cycling holidays you are completely in charge, how you plan your day (except for dropping your luggage and fixed times for transfers).
Nevertheless everything around that is perfectly organised. Feel free to enjoy the scenery and places at your own pace that suits you best. You also get to cycle as fast or as slow as you please, take breaks for taking pictures and a rest, whenever it suits you.
It is especially important when cycling self-guided that you really enjoy studying and reading maps and route descriptions as well as be guided by signposting. You explore regions on your own with the security that in the evening a hotel is booked for you and your luggage awaits.

Guided Cycling Holidays

If you decide on a guided group cycling tour, all you have to do is cycle, enjoy the perfect all-round service and simply pedal. Your tour-guide leads the way. He provides immediate info regarding nature, culture and background knowledge. In addition it is a great way to meet new people quickly and often they turn into long-term friendships. Hence group-holidays are ideal for people travelling alone. Since at the casual gathering over dinner it is nice to talk about the day’s adventures on each cycling stage or simply discuss other cycling destinations still to come
