The starting point of this tour is the city of Mozart himself. Experience the beauty of this corner of the world on the day of your arrival. A tip with children is to visit the Haus der Natur or climb the Hohen Salzburg Fortress.
The stage to Holzöster, where several lakes with refreshing water await, is a combination of train and bike. You continue to the Trumer Lake District, where the path leads you through a nature reserve. Observe the unspoiled beauty of the flora and fauna along the lake shore. The final stage back to Salzburg takes you to the beautiful Wallersee. Take advantage of the opportunity to take a refreshing swim at the lakeside before the tour slowly comes to an end.

Carriage rides, stand up paddling, a boat trip or a visit to the famous Gut Aiderbichl. A visit to the high ropes course in Seeham is particularly fun. But it also takes a bit of courage because you climb up to 35m in height and launch yourself back down on a mega zipline.

The approx. 35-kilometre-long stages leave enough time to make extensive use of the beautiful bathing facilities and to visit the many attractions. Some hills can certainly be mastered perfectly on the first-class cycle paths.
Arrival in the culturally rich City of Mozart. Regardless whether you stroll along the river Salzach with ice cream in hand, glance over the roofs of Salzburg high up from the hill ‚Kapuzinerberg’ or start with a shopping spree in the ‚Getreidegasse’: you can feel the wonderful flair, Salzburg simply oozes culture everywhere. No matter what age you are, Salzburg will enchant you! Welcome meeting and rental bike distribution.
After a short ride by regional railway, you autonomously start your family tour full of beans in Oberndorf (exercised cyclists can take already the bike to cycle to Oberndorf), birthplace of the most famous Christmas carol ever: ‚Silent Night’. Then onwards along the lovely babbling river Salzach into the diverse nature of Austria’s largest moor area: here the warm lakes Höllerersee and Holzöstersee with lido for families await. Just like a little Garden of Eden.
Here in the nature reserve, time seems to stand still. You cycle past the animal paradise to Michaelbeuern and from there into the Trumer-Lake district with its three crystal clear lakes, Lake Obertrumer See, Lake Mattsee and Lake Grabensee. This is the best place to cool off, have fun and relax in the glistening water after your cycling tour.
You cycle along the awesome lake “Wallersee“ with its beautiful lidos to Seekirchen and further to Eugendorf. From there you bike along the old „Ischler Bahntrasse, a shutdown train path, to the city of Mozart: Salzburg. Now is the time to visit all the lovely attractions of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Departure at the evening.

You cycle along the river Salzach and through numerous nature reserves, past countless lakes with options for a swim. There are few longer ascents between the Trumer Lakes and Salzburg or Lake Mondsee. You cycle always on well-maintained cycle paths.

For children who are already able to ride the bike on their own, but would also like to be pulled along the route by their parents, we offer a Follow-Me always in combination with an Eurobike 20 inch children's bike (body size approx. 115 cm - 150 cm) and a rental bike for the parents.
Even the youngest can join us on a bike trip - our KTM child trailers even offer space for up to 2 children. Suitable from one and a half year or up to a height of 105 cm and 20 kg (two children up to 15 kg each).
