Insurance for travel agents to protect customer payments following EU directives.

Active on Holiday BV is part of the Eurofun Group based in Austria and is a reseller of the trips they offer. The trips are therefore covered by the insurance taken out by Eurofun, which is valid in the various European member states and the United Kingdom.

In the event of bankruptcy of the tour operator or - in some Member States - the travel agent, payments already made will be refunded. If the tour operator, or if applicable the selling travel agent, goes bankrupt after the start of the package and the transport is part of this package, this insurance will ensure that passengers are returned.

The traveller can use this facility, and if necessary via the responsible handling agent TVA-Tourismusversicherungsagentur GmbH, Baumannstrasse 9, 1030 VIENNA, 24h Tel. +43 1 361 907744 or E-mail: abwicklung@tourismusversicherung.at as soon as the services reserved by the traveller are refused due to the bankruptcy of Eurofun.
