It’s the perfect starting point for the seven-day hike to the Wendelstein. The route takes in varied mountain trails to rustic huts where you can sample delicious delicacies. Every day you and the kids can also cool down in the surrounding lakes.

Around the Wendelstein: On the penultimate day comes a hike up the well-known German mountain -the Wendelstein. The circular trail to the summit features a chapel and weather observatory. The goal is the Wendelstein cave with its underground passages. An experience for young and old!
Rustic mountain huts and hearty meals: What’s the highlight of every hike? The huts and restaurants, of course! They are to Bavaria as sand is to the sea. Delicious fragrant cakes, bread with obazda and delicious ‘Scheiterhaufen’ with lots of cinnamon and raisins. The children’s eyes will be gleaming!
Useful information about the hiking tour for families in Bavaria
Tour Bavaria for seven days as you go from lake Tegernsee to Riederstain, Bad Wiessee, Schliersee and Spitzingsee. On day five, you and your family will arrive by bus to Schliersee and finally to the end destination Byreischzell. The average walking time is three to four and a half hours and requires good basic fitness for adults and kids. If you find it too strenuous, many stages can be shortened by public transport.

Altitude paths with amazing views, to the mountain inn Galaun, then onwards to the little mountain chapel on the rock formation of Mount Riederstein, from where you have a magnificent view down to the lake and onto the surrounding mountains. Once back on the lake the Tegernsee brewery inn invites to a cool beverage, before you return with the Tegernsee-ship to Bad Wiessee.
From Tegernsee you soon reach alpine pastures via a steep forest trail surrounding the well-known Alpine beer garden Neureuth. After a break with lovely views onto the lake you casually continue your tour to the Gindelalm alp and then you descend along forest paths and forest roads to Lake Schliersees and after the marina you reach the pretty and neat spa park situated directly at the lakeside of Lake Schliersee.
Along the lakeside-adventure-path you get to Fischhausen. Then along the path ‚Bockerlbahnweg’ with numerous info points via the former forest railway, you first walk to the col ‚Spitzingsattel’ and then onwards to the picturesque Lake Spitzingsee. Walk round this nature idyll before you take a break in the historic challet‚ ´Wurzhütte’ and then return by bus to Schliersee.
A light and airy cable car ride takes you to the summit station on Mount Taubenstein. Then you walk on a high-altitude path with brilliant views to the Rotwandhaus, where you have the opportunity to climb to the peak of the Rotwand if you fancy. Onwards via the picturesque cirque ‚Großtiefentaler Kessel’ to Lake Soinsee with its idyllic location, then along alpine pastures and flowering meadows to Bayrischzell.
The King-Maximilian-path leads you past a waterfall to the Wendelstein-Alp. From there you walk all the way to the summit with its impressive meteorological observatory and along the panorama-loop-path to the Wendelstein cave with its accessible underground tunnels. After a snack in the panorama-beer garden, you take the cable car back into the valley and casually walk back to Bayrischzell.
Promising, comfortable hikes on good hiking trails and forest roads. Larger height differences are overcome by cable car, individual stages can be easily shortened by public transport. Requirements: basic fitness, children should be used to walking for a few hours at a time and have a bit of walking experience. The walks are mainly across meadows, on forest tracks and good paths.

Die Touren um die Seen (Tegernsee, Schliersee, Wiessee) waren sehr schön. Wendelstein Blick ebenso. Gute Führung, auch für Kinder (7 Jahre) schaffbar.

Eine Genußwanderung
Es war eine tolle Wanderung, teils anstrengend teils leicht. Die Wanderstrecken waren alle sehr gut beschrieben und ausgeschildert. Unser Highlight war die Wanderung zur Rotwand. Auch hat das Wetter mitgespielt da es nicht zu warm war. Alles in allem können wir Eurohike weiterempfehlen, es hat alles geklappt. Von Anfang bis zum Ende war alles super organisiert. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nochmal eine Wandertour buchen.

Schöner Familienurlaub
Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Tour mit Kindern. Dank des abwechslungsreichen Programmes, wurde unseren Kindern nie langweilig und sie hatten richtig viel Spaß. Sie konnten auch alle Wanderungen gut meistern. Auch mein Mann und ich waren sehr begeistert von den gut beschilderten Wanderwegen, der schönen Landschaft und den Hotels. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener, aktiver aber auch entspannter Familienurlaub.

abwechslungsreiche Tour
Wir hatten auch Glück mit dem WEtter, aber es war eine sehr schöne abwechslungsreiche Tour. Für müde Kinderfüße gibt es auch immer Möglichkeiten abzukürzen oder ggf auch eine Wanderauszeit zu nehmen. Gibt ja auch so viel zu entdecken.

Ein sehr schöner und abwechslungsreicher Urlaub
Tolle Landschaften, abwechslungsreiches Programm (neben dem Wandern): viele Bademöglichkeiten (in Seen, Therme, Freibad), Bootsfahrten, Seilbahnfahrten, Fahrt mit der Sommerrodelbahn. Da kam keine Langeweile auf!
