Arrival to Potsdam
Individual arrival in Potsdam. In the late afternoon the info meeting and bike handover will follow (if booked).
The Havel river takes you first to Werder with its magnificent old town. Fruit growing and lakes characterise the landscape on the way to Brandenburg an der Havel.
Today you reach the neo-baroque Ribbeck Castle. Kremmen is famous for its historic barn quarter. It is considered the largest preserved of its kind in Germany. Today, craftsmen, artists and restaurateurs live here.
Liebenberg Castle with its beautiful landscape park is the first destination on the tour. It is worth making a detour to the brickworks in Mildenberg, which is now an industrial and technical museum. You will spend the night in Zehdenick. (approx. 45 km)
The Havel canals accompany you to your day's destination Oranienburg. We recommend a visit to the oldest baroque castle in the Mark Brandenburg as well as to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp memorial and museum. (approx. 40 km)
You reach the Berlin district of Spandau, which mixes urban flair with woodland and water-rich recreational areas. Berlin's city centre is not far away from here. (approx.
You travel along the river Havel to Lake Wannsee and take a ferry (optional) to Potsdam. Here you can visit the World Heritage Site with the famous Sanssouci Palace.

This tour is easy to cycle. We avoid busy street instead we cycle on bike path and side roads. Sometimes the roads could be unpaved.
