Individual arrival to Bucharest/airport. Transfer by bus at 2 p.m. (duration about 4 hours) to Tulcea. Embarkation on the comfortable hotel boat. Dinner and overnight.

Along the southern-most river arm through the Bestepe nature reserve. A wonderful view deep into the Delta compensates for the small climbs. From the small fisher village Murighiol you cruise into a labyrinth of canals, swimming islands and close virgin forest to experience pure wilderness. Overnight on the boat.

A bumpy gravel road – on the right side the Black Sea, on the left side green reed and dump landscape. In the lonesomeness of the Delta egrets and cormorants are our constant companions. At kilometre 0 in Sulina: at the light tower the river Danube has reached its goal and mingles with the salt of the Sea. Thinking of the long journey of this mighty river lets you pause for a moment. Overnight on the boat.

Through the bird paradise Musura Bay on nature roads to the picturesque village of Letea. Time seems to stand still here. The houses are built with reed and mud, caring painted in blue, all around contemplative silence. Near the village, located on a sand bank there is a special natural spectacle, a tropical virgin forest with climbers and lianas. You reach the fisher village Crisan by boat. Overnight on the boat.

An extended journey by boat through the numerous canals and along small fisher villages lets you experience the intense diversity of fauna and flora of the UNESCO world cultural heritage Danube Delta. In-between the virgin forest, the orthodox monastery of Stipoc is located. In the afternoon return journey from this unreal dream world back into the pulsating life in small towns. Overnight on the boat. 

Loop tour through the rolling landscape to convent Celic Dere, the biggest convent of Dobrogea. The small, dreamy monastery of Saon with its distinctive wind mills is located idyllic in-between the vineyards directly at the waterside. Enjoy the fantastic view from a ridge onto the wide, green flood plain, directly at the boarder to the Ukraine. Return transfer to Tulcea. Overnight in a guest house of 4****-level.

By bus to the old, Turkish populated village of Babadag, from there you cycle along nesting sites to the medieval fortress of Enisala, which is located above the river. Enjoy the breath-taking views onto the Razime lagoon from there. The nature reserve of Cape Dolosman with its roman excavations of Argamum separates the Delta lakes Golovita and Razim. Overnight in a guest house of 4****-level.

In the morning bus transfer back in the capital city of Bucharest.
